Day 1 - International Flight - Los Angeles to Auckland

Visit a true thing of beauty and cruise the sparkling waters of Waitemata Harbour!

You'll pass under the Harbour Bridge twice and then off to Westhaven Marina to catch a glance at the viaduct harbour bustling with super yachts! This cruise also gives you a chance to "hop-on, hop-off" and discover nearby islands at your leisure.

Day 3 - Deluxe Coach to Rotorua
Experience New Zealand's rich cultural heritage and the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua, plus a trip through the famous glowworm caves at Waitomo, on this full day sightseeing tour by deluxe luxury coach.

Depart Auckland: Travel the main Southern Highway through small rural townships steeped in early pioneer history. Your host serves morning tea during this sector.

<B>Waikato:</B> Travel through New Zealand's largest dairy and sheep farming province. See the small farming settlements on the outskirts of Hamilton City, as you travel towards King Country, birthplace of the Maori Monarchy.

<B>Waitomo Glow Worm Caves:</B> Join a guided tour through this world-famous cave formation, climaxed by drifting silently in a boat through a glow worm cavern lit up with thousands of tiny glow worm lights.

<B>Light Lunch:</B> Served on-board as we make our way to Rotorua through magnificent rural farmland with its vast numbers of grazing animals.

<B>Rotorua: </B>New Zealand's highest city, 305 meters (1000 feet) above sea level, located inside the rim of a volcanic crater. An area of great geothermal activity where you will visit the following attractions:

<B>Agrodome Farm Tour:</B> An introduction to New Zealand farming, with a 45-minute tour of an authentic working farm in all-weather, all-terrain vehicles. Watch a sheep being shorn and hand-feed the animals.

<B>Lake Rotorua:</B> Drive through the foreshore park past the hundreds of ducks and swans. Then travel through the beautiful historic Government Gardens.

<B>Te Puia Institute (Maori Arts, Crafts & Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve):</B> One of Rotorua's most famous attractions. See woodcarving, weaving displays, Maori village and the thermal valley with the famous Pohutu Geyser, fumaroles, colourful silica deposits and boiling mud pools.

Travel to the Blue Mountains, just a short trip outside of Sydney, Australia, one of the few World Heritage listed national parks in the world. Densely populated with oil bearing Eucalyptus trees, the atmosphere is filled with finely dispersed droplets of oil, which in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter short-wave length rays of light which are predominantly blue in colour. Afterwards, enter the geothermal valley on a waka (people moving vehicle) and discover one of New Zealand’s most magnificent geothermal wonderlands – featuring dramatic geysers, bubbling mud, and beautiful native bush. Day 6 - Day Tour - Doubtful Sound
Doubtful Sound, Queenstown, New Zealand When you discover Doubtful Sound you will be struck by its silence, a silence broken only by birdsong, or maybe the rushing of a distant waterfall.

Your Doubtful Sound adventure begins as you cruise the crystal clear waters of Lake Manapouri. Then its over Wilmot Pass, stopping along the way to experience some of Fiordland's densest rainforest and to view the colourful alpine moss gardens.

On reaching Deep Cove, you will board our spacious catamaran for a three hour cruise that takes in the most dramatic scenery of Doubtful Sound. Our skippers provide a detailed commentary and point out highlights. Keep a look out for wildlife as bottlenose dolphins frequently come alongside our vessel, fur seals bask on the rocks around the fiord and rare penguins can at times be observed. Full Day Tour.

Once at the launch site, it only takes around 30 minutes for your balloon to be inflated and ready for boarding. You are welcome to help with the setup of the balloon or simply stand back and take photos as your aircraft takes shape and comes to life.

As the sun rises, you will ascend into the sky in your colorful balloon. As your balloon drifts gently along on the morning breeze you will feel completely secure within your basket, with very little sensation of movement. During your flight you may find yourself floating just above the treetops then moments later effortlessly ascending to heights of 2000 feet or more.

The excitement of the morning continues over a Celebration Breakfast at the Camden Valley Inn. Relax and enjoy a delicious a la carte breakfast with your fellow passengers and your pilot as you celebrate one of the most exhilarating mornings of your life. Your digital photo album will be sent to your phone during breakfast.

Each passenger will need to supply their weight and confirmation that they are fit and well with no significant knee, hip or back problems, broken bones, recent surgeries, are able to stand unassisted for one hour and are not pregnant. This open water cruise takes you through the entrance of Sydney Harbour onboard a 100-passenger coastal catamaran.The upper deck offers spectacular open air viewing whilst the main deck provides a comfortable all weather lounge with large viewing windows for the entire family.

The number of whales passing Sydney on the annual northern migration is expected to reach its traditional peak around the Winter Solstice in June. After calving in the northern waters between August and September, they then head south once more making their long journey back to Antarctica.

Your lesson will cover surf awareness and safety, sport-specific warm-ups and stretches, standing up, paddling techniques, catching waves and equipment selection advice.

Day 8 - Day Tour - Trans Alpine Safari
See the spectacular mountain vistas of Arthur's Pass National Park and immerse yourself in New Zealand's high country scenery on this journey through the South Island. You'll discover breathtaking mountain landscapes and alpine forests on personal, up close encounters most people never get to witness.

Your day begins with a hotel pick up that takes you to the train station for boarding on the famous TranzAlpine train, rated one of the top six train journeys in the world. This scenic rail experience takes you westward across the rich agricultural belt of the Canterbury Plains, river canyons, tunnels and viaducts to the grand mountains of the Southern Alps and Arthur's Pass.

At Arthur's Pass village you will meet your guide, a friendly and professional tour leader who will give you profound insight into each stop of the day. You will have the opportunity to:

- View the pristine Waimakariri River and its unique braided river system
- Explore the alpine forest, crystal rivers and mountain vistas on short walks through Arthur's Pass National Park
- Enjoy lunch at a historic high country hotel
- Follow the old stage coach route and view the spectacular Otira Gorge, a testament to the road builders of the 1860’s and the route taken by the Maori in their quest for greenstone

Day 9 - International Flight- Auckland to Los Angeles
International flight from Auckland to Los Angeles Today depart Auckland and fly to the USA. Enjoy an in-flight dinner and movie with arrival in the USA. Note: you will be traveling back across the International Date Line. Gain that day back you lost on the way over, you actually arrive in the USA on the same day you leave Auckland.

This city tour showcases the highlights of Auckland and takes you on a journey to explore the Maori history, along with the legends and stories behind some of the famous local landmark names.

Here you can stroll on a beautiful beach with views out across the Waitemata harbor to Rangitoto Island. There is also a small local cafe here if you want to try some local baking and coffee.

Next there is a short drive through historic Devonport to get to the panoramic views over Auckland that you can only get from Mount Victoria – often considered the best view of Auckland.

You will then travel back over the Harbour Bridge to stop at Westhaven Marina, one of the largest marinas in the Southern Hemisphere, with views through the yacht masts to the city skyline.
